How long have you been slingin’ ink? 

Did my first tattoo and apprenticeship 18 years ago. Trained throughout the years at different shops and have been licensed for 5 years.

What’s your favorite thing to tattoo? Preferred style? 

It’s a tie between colorful pieces- especially those cosmic themed, animals, and/or floral- semi realism, and black and gray. 

What’s your favorite aspect of tattooing? 

I LOVE my clientele… meeting new people and building rapport is so satisfying for me. I also love being able to use my tattoo skills to fundraise for the community.

What’s a tattoo that you’re super proud of/a favorite? 

I've been working on a back piece for a friend for several years. It’s been such a journey and has taught me so much about trusting the process. Special circumstances have pushed both of us to learn our own limitations and grow together. I'm so thankful for the experience.

If you were a snack food, what would you be? 

The name speaks for itself, baby! Jelly on toast in the morning time.

What’s your favorite weird/fun fact? 

Axolotl Facts: Axolotls, a type of salamander, can regrow most any part, and have both lungs and gills. They can convert to land salamanders if their habitat is unsuitable. They have been revered as gods in Mexico, having been named after the Aztec deity Xolotl, the god of fire and lightning.

How long have you been slingin’ ink? 

8 years

What’s your favorite thing to tattoo? Preferred style? 

I love getting challenges and being able to stretch my art and skills. 

What’s your favorite aspect of tattooing? 

I always enjoy cover ups; being able to get rid of a tattoo someone hates and turn it into something they love is so fulfilling.

What’s a tattoo that you’re super proud of/a favorite? 

Old Dirty Bastard of the Wu tang Clan done in the style of the Virgin Mary. (Check out her pics!)

If you were a snack food, what would you be? 

Fruit with Tajin- A little salty, a little spicy, and a little sweet!

What’s your favorite weird/fun fact? 

Siphonophores are sea creatures that appear to be single organisms, but are actually a full colony of individual parts. The Portuguese Man O’War is one common example. They can be found all over, in coastal waters and the deep sea floor alike.

16 years

What’s your favorite thing to tattoo? Preferred style? 

My favorite is American Traditional and Japanese, but I like to do a bit of everything. 

What’s your favorite aspect of tattooing? 

I love the work- it gives me a lot of freedom to do my thing. I especially love it when I can tattoo my own art. 

What’s a tattoo that you’re super proud of/a favorite? 

I really just enjoy when the tattoo is done and the customer is happy.

If you were a snack food, what would you be? 

Strawberries

What’s your favorite thing to tattoo? Preferred style? 

I particularly enjoy tattoos that are weird, fun, energetic, and unusual or over-the-top in some sort of way. 

What’s your favorite aspect of tattooing? 

tattoo machine go brrrrrrrrrrrr 

What’s a tattoo that you’re super proud of/a favorite? 

It’s so tough to choose. Some are special because of how they look in the skin, others are special because of the story behind them, or what the client was experiencing in their life at the time that they got tattooed. I started working on a really gross screaming demon skull recently that I’m stoked about. 

If you were a snack food, what would you be? 

Nutella and ginger snaps –  unusual combination, but surprisingly delicious.

What’s your favorite weird/fun fact? 

Humans have been tattooing themselves and each other for at least 5,000 years!
